  • 1 Large Skillet
  • 1 Medium Oven Dish


  • 3 whole Japanese Sweet Potatoes Purple skin, white meat
  • 450 grams Extra lean ground turkey
  • 1 can Cream style corn 398mL
  • 1 can Corn 341 mL
  • 1 whole Red Onion Chopped
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 2 tsp Montreal Steak Spice
  • ¼ cup Almond Milk
  • 1 tsp Paprika Optional
  • Salt and Pepper To Taste


  • Peel potatoes and cut into 2 inches cubes. Boil over medium heat until soft (about 10-15 minutes). Remove water and add almond milk, salt & pepper. Mash until smooth. Set aside.
  • While the potatoes are cooking, melt the olive oil over high heat in a large skillet. Add onions and soften for 30 seconds.
  • Add the meat, garlic salt, Montreal Steak spice, salt & Pepper. Brown meat over medium heat until cooked (no more pink).
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F
  • Transfer the cooked meat into a medium oven dish (10 inches large). Add both types of corn on top of the meat, spreading it evenly. With the help of a fork, gently spread the mashed potatoes on top of the corn. Sprinkle with paprika (optional)
  • Put the oven dish in the oven and bake for 20 minutes, until it is hot throughout.
  • Serve immediately with a side of steamed vegetable or a salad.
